Colon Adenocarcinoma

A 70 year old man experienced bright red blood per rectum and was found to have iron deficiency anemia. He underwent colonoscopy that revealed a large, fungating, friable mass in the sigmoid colon. The patient underwent a sigmoid colectomy.
